Our client is looking for an ambitious B2B Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand their client base.
This role is open to recent graduates who are looking to start their career in B2B sales, or you may be an experienced sales professional with proven B2B sales experience.
The role involves identifying new business opportunities, engaging with key decision-makers, and managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure. It requires strong consultative sales skills, excellent communication, and the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Salary £26,000 - £35,000 basic depending on level of experience (OTE £75,000+ uncapped), plus 25 days holiday, private healthcare, pension scheme, and ongoing professional development.
Based in Maidenhead, office based for the first 3 months whilst training, this role will then be a mix of office/field based.
Duties
- Identify and target businesses in regulated industries such as logistics, construction, corporate services, and transportation.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects through networking, online platforms, and industry events.
- Develop tailored proposals for clients.
- Conduct consultative sales meetings, demonstrating how solutions improve compliance, risk reduction, and workforce performance.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Maintain long-term client relationships and identify opportunities for upselling additional services.
- Ensure a seamless handover to the delivery teams, clearly communicating client needs.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
