Customer Service Account Handler

Medway

Salary: £24k-£27k DOE

Monday to Friday (No Weekend Working) 8.30AM-5PM

Our client is looking for a Customer Service Account Handler. This role offers more than just a job. It's an exciting opportunity with clear career progression. You are able to progress and develop your skills leading a small group of account handlers.

As a Customer Service Account Handler, you'll be at the heart of the operations. Your main responsibility will be to manage service requests from clients, providing a high standard of support and coordinate with the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
  • Schedule maintenance, emergency callouts, and remedial visits according to company procedures.
  • Deliver great customer service, coordinating visits between clients and engineers.
  • Ensure timely response to all emergency callouts within set KPIs.
  • Act as the first point of contact for clients, addressing queries professionally and efficiently.
  • Prepare risk assessments and method statements for scheduled maintenance.
  • Process all necessary paperwork, including worksheets and purchase orders, promptly.
  • Perform general administrative duties, such as responding to emails and data entry.

Skills required:

  • Strong computer literacy
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Experience in a high-pressure, client-facing environment
