The Role: As a Design Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the design team by producing detailed drawings and designs for various projects. Your strong CAD skills will be essential in ensuring that all designs are accurate and meet client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and modify detailed technical drawings using CAD software.
- Collaborate with the design team to develop project designs from concept to completion.
- Ensure all drawings and designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports.
- Review design changes and provide feedback to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
- Maintain organized records of all design work and revisions.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge and experience with CAD software (AutoCAD or similar).
- Previous experience in a design or technical role, preferably within the construction or consultancy sectors.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of design principles.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Relevant qualifications in design, engineering, or a related field are advantageous.
