The role focuses on new business development and converting new customers, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales or a sales engineering position.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive basic salary plus commission, with the position based in Mid Essex.
Key responsibilities include meeting KPIs, maintaining sales forecasts, and staying updated on product lines and market trends.
A degree in an engineering discipline is desirable, along with proven sales experience and a full driving license.

We have been instructed to recruit a Sales Engineer for an electronics company.

The main purpose of this role will be to carry out new business development activities and convert new customers.The successful appointee will receive a competitive basic salary plus commission.

The role is based in Mid Essex.

Responsibilities:

- New business development

- Meeting and exceeding KPI's

- Maintaining an up to date sales forecast and list of projects

- Updating company CRM

- Stay up to date with product lines, industry trends, market etc.

- Travel for meetings, trade shows and training as required (UK and international).

Skills & Experience required:

- Degree in Engineering discipline (desirable).

- Minimum 3 years experience in technical sales or sales engineering position.

- Proven track record in sales.

- Work experience within electronics manufacturing / supply / reselling or similar.

- Full driving license and access to own vehicle.
