A leading Malton employer is seeking an experienced accounts professional to support the Finance Manager with the upkeep of the finance department, whilst also working with the senior leadership team to improve the content of the monthly management information provided to the directors.

The successful applicant will be an analytical thinker who is able to recognise trends and interpret data, with broad finance experience covering month end, payroll and transactional finance.

Your main duties will include:

  • Accurately compiling financial reports for senior leadership
  • Ensure smooth running of month end process including posting of month end reports, liaising with all departments to ensure pending transactions have been posted, and unallocated cash is at a minimum.
  • Supporting with preparation of payroll including pension contributions and necessary deductions before handing to the external payroll bureau - liaising with the external payroll bureau to resolve queries.
  • Performing credit control and regularly reporting on outstanding debts
  • Working closely with the finance manager to support on ad hoc duties within the accounts department.
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements.
  • Supporting with the audit as and when required.

Salary: £27,500 - £32,500 (Dependant on experience) Benefits include:
