Salary circa £45,000 per annum depending upon experience plus benefits package.
As Automation and Control Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing customised automation and control processes using internal software and customer specifications.
- Developing C# control software and interfacing with third-party equipment for seamless integration.
- Analysing engineering systems and providing automation recommendations.
- Creating test procedures, diagnosing faults, and ensuring system functionality meets customer requirements.
- Conducting site visits for installation, testing, and documentation purposes.
To be successful in the position of Automation and Control Engineer you will possess the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in electrical, mechanical, robotics, mechatronics, or automation engineering.
- Proven experience in hardware-based automation.
- Proficiency in C# and Visual Studio.
- Strong understanding of automation hardware and protocols.
- Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally as needed.
- Valid UK driver's license.
This position is based in Malvern and is easily commutable from Worcester, Ledbury, Tewkesbury, Leominster, Bromyard, Cheltenham and Evesham.
