As Automation and Control Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing customised automation and control processes using internal software and customer specifications.
  • Developing C# control software and interfacing with third-party equipment for seamless integration.
  • Analysing engineering systems and providing automation recommendations.
  • Creating test procedures, diagnosing faults, and ensuring system functionality meets customer requirements.
  • Conducting site visits for installation, testing, and documentation purposes.

To be successful in the position of Automation and Control Engineer you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in electrical, mechanical, robotics, mechatronics, or automation engineering.
  • Proven experience in hardware-based automation.
  • Proficiency in C# and Visual Studio.
  • Strong understanding of automation hardware and protocols.
  • Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally as needed.
  • Valid UK driver's license.

This position is based in Malvern and is easily commutable from Worcester, Ledbury, Tewkesbury, Leominster, Bromyard, Cheltenham and Evesham.
