Robert Half is partnering with a global organisation based in Manchester City Centre to recruit a Fund Accountant. The role sits within a high-performing finance team responsible for fund accounting across various investment vehicles, ensuring compliance with appropriate regulations and delivering core accounting services. This represents an excellent opportunity for professionals with fund accounting or strong management accounting experience to join a growing team in an environment that promotes development, innovation, and continuous improvement. For the right candidate this role offers a salary of up to £55k, bonus of 10% and excellent benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain precise financial records and supporting documentation across all entities and underlying assets within the appropriate systems.
  • Undertake the preparation of statutory and investor reports, board documentation, NAV computations, income distribution calculations, and compliance returns (including income tax and VAT submissions) for various funds and special-purpose vehicles.
  • Coordinate invoice processing and authorisation, whilst managing cash flow operations.
  • Oversee loan administration activities and produce compliance reports as required.
  • Work alongside senior team members to ensure organisational policies are properly implemented, whilst contributing to the enhancement of existing processes, procedures, and practices.
  • Foster and cultivate productive working relationships with both internal colleagues and external partners.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Real estate and property experience is highly advantageous
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines and deliver results under pressure
