Job Duties:- Oversee and manage the financial operations of the group
- Develop and implement financial strategies and plans
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement
- Manage financial risk and opportunities
- Ideally have experience of working within PE backed companies
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA)
- Proven experience in a similar financial leadership role
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and practises
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
Fully qualified in ACA, ACCA or CIMA
Experience:Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial management
Knowledge and Skills:- Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to interpret financial data and make strategic recommendations
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience in the group financial control within the accounting industry
The role of Group Financial Controller requires working full-time hours on a contract basis. The work is primarily office-based in Manchester City Centre, with occasional travel to other locations within Greater Manchester.
