Management Accountant | 6-month FTC | FinTech Start Up | Remote

We are looking for a Management Accountant to join a fast-growing, innovative business on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely and provides a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic finance team during an exciting growth phase.

Our client are a FinTech Business, with a turnover of around £3 million and a headcount of circa 100. The business have grown successfully year-on-year since their journey began 8 years ago, with much of this success a testament to their great people and culture.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
  • Managing budgets, forecasts, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Producing weekly cash flow reports and overseeing aged debtors/creditors analysis.
  • Assisting with audit processes, R&D tax claims, and payroll administration.
  • Supporting the preparation of board reports and financial presentations.
  • Enhancing finance systems and processes to support business expansion.

What We're Looking For:

  • Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant with experience in a fast-paced SME.
  • Strong knowledge of Xero, Microsoft Office, and financial reporting tools.
  • Proven ability to work independently, problem-solve, and drive improvements.
  • Experience in payments, FinTech, or high-growth scale-ups is advantageous.
