Axon Moore is seeking a hands-on individual with strong Excel skills to join a market-leading manufacturing business in Trafford Park.
The role offers a salary range of £40,000 to £50,000 and is located in West Manchester with a hybrid work model of four days in the office and one day working from home.
Key responsibilities include preparation and analysis of actual cost of sales, maintaining standard costing processes, and inventory reconciliation.
Candidates should possess advanced Excel skills, be ACCA/CIMA PQ/Finalist or QBE, and have previous experience in the manufacturing industry with extensive stock knowledge.
The ideal applicant will have a hands-on, can-do attitude and be eager to support decisions on the shop floor.

The CompanyAxon Moore is partnering with a market leading manufacturing business in Trafford Park. Due to continued growth they require a 'hands on' individual with strong Excel skills to join their exciting team.Salary – £40,000 - £50,000Location – West ManchesterHybrid – 4 days in 1 working from home.Responsibilities will include:

Preparation and Analysis of Actual Cost of Sales (COS) and update expected COS for forecast analysis.
Maintaining standard costing process, update and revaluation across all legal entities.
Maintaining overhead rates and analysis of variances to expected
Inventory reconciliation, variance analysis, yield analysis, obsolete and slow moving stock provisions.
Prepare and process journals to support month end process.
Preparation and reconciliation of monthly journals
Maintain effective working relationships with budget holding managers within the business.

Person Specification:

Advanced Excel skills.
ACCA/CIMA PQ/Finalist or QBE.
Previous experience within the manufacturing industry.
Extensive experience with stock.
Hands on, can do attitude. Eager to jump on the shop floor to support decisions.
