Our exclusive client is currently looking for a knowledgeable Management Accountant for their well-established manufacturing business based in Wythenshawe. The role is reporting directly to the Financial Controller, and senior leadership team, and will be a pivotal role within the business producing all the monthly and statutory reports across two subsidiaries within the Group.
Duties include: -
- Fully responsible for reporting of the month management pack and develop the current commentary reports.
- Develop accountability with the budgeting and projected forecasts, monitoring all costs and demonstrating visibility across the business.
- Support the finance staff with tighter controls and processes within the transactional reporting.
- Provide accurate reporting around intercompany balances across the Group.
- Develop the controls and monthly reporting processes within the business around standard costing, stock management and productions KPI’s.
- Provide direction across the business with sales and operational managers to control internal expenditure and costs.
- Responsible for all HMRC, VAT and Tax submissions within the subsidiaries.
- Support the Group Financial Controller with on-going strategic projects as required.
The successful candidate will be joining a great business and newly formed leadership team, having recently restructured this gives you the opportunity to shine and grow your exposure at Board level. You will be confident in your leadership and look to streamline the current reporting pack and add value to the wider business and essentially impact profit and growth.
Ideally you will be ACCA/CIMA Qualified (nearly or newly qualified) with some good financial reporting experience at month end, your background would ideally be within a multi-site organisation, and you will have a solid understanding of stock and production controls, and the associated reporting required.
