Tax Investigations Manager/Senior Manager Manchester City Centre £50,000 - £85,000 + Benefits + Bonus We are currently working with leading national tax advisory firm who are looking to bring in a new Manager or Senior Manager to their tax investigations/disputes team. Your new firm work with a range of HNWIs and UHNWIs who have a very complex portfolio meaning you get the opportunity to work on a range of technically challenging projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients.
  • Service Delivery: Provide high-quality Tax Investigation/dispute Services to a range of HNWI and UHNWI individuals across the UK and internationally.
  • Technical Delivery: COP9, COP8, HMRC Nudge letters and other supporting investigation and dispute work
  • Problem Solving: Deliver clear and concise solutions to administrative and analytical issues related to HMRC enquiries
  • Business Development: Collaborate with other members of the team and assist with the overall growth of the Manchester office.

Your background & experience:

  • You'll need to come from a well established tax investigation/disputes background, or have experience with HNWIs and exposure to investigations & disputes.
  • Ideally you'll have a professional qualification including a CTA, ACA, ACCA or significant experience.
  • Relationship and stakeholder management skills are essential for this role given the nature of your clients
  • Excellent technical skills along with the ability to write clear and concise tax advisory reports, along with experience working closely with HMRC.
