Eventus Recruitment are seeking a Financial Planning Administrator to join a dynamic and fast-paced team in Manchester City Centre. Working in the Client Services team, reporting to the Practice Manager, you will be liaising closely with the team of Wealth Managers. You will be responsible for the impeccable management of business submission, preparing adviser meetings packs, ensuring client records remain accurate and complete, and managing a high level of plan information requests (Letters of Authority). Role Responsibilities

The incoming Financial Planning Administrator will provide high quality administrative support to Financial Advisers and the Practice Manager including, but not limited to;

  • Undertaking administrative tasks to support the Financial Advisers & Practice Manager as necessary;
  • Corresponding with clients, internal departments and external providers by letter telephone and email;
  • Preparing files such as client review and presentation paperwork for client meetings;
  • Data entry into various systems and maintaining accurate data across systems for clients;
  • Updating cash flow models, investment performance reviews and production of supporting reports, discussion documents and computer models;
  • Handling complex cases and ensure that any business applications are processed in a responsible and compliant manner, meeting all legislative requirements, both internally and externally;

You will have initial and ongoing training to learn new processes and skills, which would provide you with a solid foundation for career progression and your personal development.

Person Specification

You will be able to demonstrate exceptional administrative skills within financial services and be able to demonstrate that you are able to meet the criteria below:

  • Faultless interpersonal skills, assertive whilst friendly with a professional demeanour
  • Impeccable face-to-face and telephone client interaction skills and ability to build rapports swiftly with all manner of personalities
  • Impeccable written communication skills
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to adapt and learn the use of internal systems and databases
  • Good at managing own workload and ability to prioritise tasks whilst retaining a high level of attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Good time management with the ability to multi-task and change focus throughout the day when necessary
  • An ability to remain calm when faced with conflicting demands whilst demonstrating a positive attitude at all times
  • Highly self-motivated, attentive and demonstrates a can-do attitude
  • Must be a team player

As you will have contact with clients, it is essential that you are professional and confident in dealing with third parties, have excellent communication skills and can work with total discretion.
