Description
The key responsibilities of a Senior Accounts Payable Clerk will include:
- Oversee and maintain all aspects of the purchase ledger
- Provide support for the accounting and finance team
- Process and reconcile invoices and payments
- Assist in preparing month-end reports
- Liaise with suppliers and resolve any arising issues
- Work closely with the finance team to improve processes and procedures
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
- Provide support for ad hoc projects as required
Profile
A successful Senior Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
- Strong experience managing accounts payable processes.
- Proven ability to handle high volume invoice processing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
