Job Title: Business Development Executive
Location: Nationwide
Salary: from £40k + Competitive commission structure (Package negotiable for ideal candidate)
We are looking for a field sales executive for a national catering supplier. The ideal candidate will have experience selling glassware, crockery and other sundry items into Hotels already.
- Identify and prospect potential clients to generate new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision makers (e.g. purchasing managers, chefs and F&B directors)
- Understand client needs and tailor product offerings to meet hotel requirements.
- Negotiate and close sales deals ensuring favourable terms for both the company and the client.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for business growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. fulfilment and logistics) to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
- Prepare and deliver product presentations and proposals to hotel clients.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets related to revenue and client acquisition.
- Attend industry events and exhibitions to expand the companys network and brand visibility.
- Provide post sale support to ensure client satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.
Experience:
- Proven experience in sales within the hospitality supplies industry.
- Established network of existing clients, particularly with hotels, restaurants or hospitality groups.
- Deep understanding of the hotel procurement process, including relationships with key decision makers.
- Track record of driving growth in a B2B environment.
- Experience conducting market research to identify emerging trends and customer preferences in the hospitality sector.
- Familiarity with product knowledge relating to crockery, tableware or related dining sundry products.
- Strong negotiation and relationship building skills, with the ability to foster long term partnerships.
- Experience in presenting and demonstrating products to high end clientele and hospitality professionals.
