Building Manager

Manchester City Centre

£30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience

9am - 5.30pm

Office Angels are recruiting for a Building Manager for a corporate office space in Manchester City Centre.

Duties will include:

  • Managing a small team and ensuring they are trained, motivated and developed
  • Oversee the front of house function including security and providing break cover when required and recruit when needed
  • Dealing with any contractors and ensuring any building maintenance is carried out efficiently
  • Overseeing building refurbishments
  • Ensuring all health and safety requirements are met - carrying out risk assessments, building checks, fire drills etc.. and ensuring all documentation is up to date
  • Manage client feedback, escalated queries or complaints
  • Create reports for senior management when required
  • Deal with any invoicing or day to day finance requirements
  • Carry out quarterly inspections
  • Assisting other members of the team if required

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Experience of managing serviced office space
  • Previous facilities management and front of house experience
  • Excellent customer service and client management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and deal with problems as they arise
  • Good people management skills
  • Flexible attitude, self motivation and willingness to adapt
