Key Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with product and subcontract managers to streamline production processes, ensuring timely and efficient delivery that meets customer demands.
- Subcontractor Relations: Serve as the main liaison with subcontractor manufacturers, managing relationships and improving processes or exploring new partner opportunities.
- Team Leadership: Lead an embedded team of electronics and software engineers to ensure product quality and alignment with customer needs.
- Technical Specifications: Work closely with product managers to define specifications based on customer requests, feasibility, cost assessments, and technical limitations.
- Problem Solving: Identify and address product limitations, risks, and challenges, working with OEMs and partners to ensure flawless product functionality.
- Quality Assurance: Supervise the accuracy of installations and ensure the highest standards for hardware and data integration.
- Customer Support: Provide second-line support for complex installation issues, ensuring smooth and accurate installations.
- Documentation & Training: Contribute to the development of technical manuals and training materials, ensuring up-to-date, clear installation guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in engineering operations or technical project management.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information.
- Experience with embedded systems and electronics.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to emerging technologies.
