Infused Solutions has partnered with a well-established IT consultancy in Sale. Our client seeks a high-level Azure Infrastructure Engineer to lead transformative changes to their infrastructure. This role is pivotal in modernising their systems and ensuring optimal performance and security within a Microsoft-centric environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a technical escalation point for complex IT system and hardware issues, providing advanced support.
  • Lead and participate in infrastructure improvement projects, driving enhancements across platform systems to support strategic goals.
  • Oversee advanced platform networking and infrastructure management across a geographically diverse environment, maintaining high availability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with product development and CI/CD engineering teams to implement customer solutions that are secure, scalable, and cloud-centric.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate infrastructure seamlessly with cloud applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, implementing proactive measures to improve system reliability and resilience.
  • Lead and support project transitions involving VMware, Hyper-V, or vSphere.
  • Use monitoring and ITSM tools, such as ServiceNow, to maintain infrastructure visibility and performance.

Experience:

  • Proven experience as an Azure Infrastructure Engineer or a related role (e.g., Cloud Infrastructure Engineer).
  • In-depth experience with Azure services (e.g., Azure VNet, Azure AD, Azure Monitor).
  • Strong foundation in Microsoft technologies (e.g., Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server).
  • Experience with vitalisation tools such as VMware or Hyper-V, and familiarity with monitoring tools like ServiceNow.
  • NICE TO HAVE: Solid security background with familiarity in tools such as Azure Security Centre, NSGs, and firewalls.
