The Opportunity:

Working within a team, you will collect premium due from our brokers within agreed credit terms. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Taking a pro-active role in managing accounts and working towards individual targets
  • Accurately raising and issuing invoices, recording and allocating cash received
  • Performing regular complex reconciliations to broker statements
  • Contacting brokers by phone and email to chase payments of outstanding debts
  • Responding to relevant queries, liaising with underwriters and the broker service team as necessary and delivering excellent service
  • Assist in month end closure routines

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have a good knowledge of accountancy software (Dynamics, Sage etc) and are proficient in Excel (pivot tables, and lookups)
  • Have previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable within the financial services / insurance industry
  • Possess strong communication, time managementand organisational skills
