Elevation Recruitment Group's Transactional Finance division are working with a leading engineering business based in Manchester as they look to recruit a Credit Risk Team Leader to join their team on a 12-month FTC to cover a period of secondment.

Salary: c£34,000The Credit Risk Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing a team of 3 within Credit Risk as well as ensuring the smooth running of the function.

Key Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the Credit Risk team to ensure they provide an accurate assessment of financial risk for new and existing clients 
  • Oversee a team of Credit Administrators, to enable the credit controllers to focus on collections
  • Controlling and resolving business escalations to a high standard of customer service
  • Raising the profile of the credit risk policy and Credit Management services

Key Experience & Skills required:

  • Experience in Credit Management or another team that handles a high volume of requests from customers such as HR, Accounts Payable, Billing or Administration
  • Experience of Credit Risk is desirable
  • Delivering a high standard of customer excellence
