Customer Service Advisor

Consult Energy are working with an award-winning business energy supplier committed to providing affordable, reliable, and sustainable energy to businesses across the country. Their customer-focused approach ensures that they always put customers first and strive to deliver outstanding service. They are currently looking for a motivated and passionate Customer Service Advisor to join the team.

Role Overview:

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional support and resolving queries related to their energy services. You will be responsible for offering expert advice, troubleshooting issues, processing requests, and ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and efficient.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Resolve a variety of customer queries, including billing, account changes, and technical issues.
  • Provide clear and accurate information about products, services, and tariffs.
  • Handle complaints effectively, working to resolve them and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Process account changes, payments, and refunds accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Stay up to date with company policies, industry regulations, and energy-saving tips to support customers effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Strive for first-call resolution and meet KPIs for customer satisfaction and efficiency.
  
Key Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach.
  • Previous customer service experience, ideally in a fast-paced or call centre environment.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop.
  • Basic knowledge of energy industry processes and terminology is a plus.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
