Data and Analytics Manager- Manchester (Hybrid)- up to £60K

As the Data & Analytics Manager, you will lead the strategic planning and implementation of data and analytics solutions, promoting a data-centric approach throughout the business. Your solutions will enable Growth, Experience and Technology teams to make data-informed decisions.

You will develop analytics product offering, advocating for analytics across the business to help create a data-driven organisation.

This role needs to cultivate strong relationships with both clients and colleagues, leveraging the power of analytics to drive growth for clients through effective and precise measurement plans and implementations.  

Key Responsibilities:

Leading data and analytics offering, championing effective, attractive, clear and meaningful reporting and analysis for clients.

Developing analytics specifications in conjunction with clients and internal teams.

Implementing and overseeing analytics solutions with a small team.

Liaising with clients and running onboarding workshops to develop effective analytics strategies and measurement frameworks.

Leading the agency's offering on data and privacy issues and developing coherent, compliant strategies (e.g. GDPR compliance) for clients.

Staying abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and digital marketing. Identifying and implementing new products, tools and methodologies to enhance the agency's data capabilities.

Provide training for clients and internal staff on the use of analytics techniques and products. Including GA4, GTM and Looker Studio.

Provide mentorship to the data and analytics team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Deliver thought leadership on analytics strategy, and support with proposals, pitches, webinars and articles.

Key Requirements:

      Minimum 3 years experience in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and social tracking & analytics (measurement framework planning, implementation and analysis).

Data literate with concept-level understanding of query languages and aggregation tools (SQL, Funnel, Fivetran, APIs), data modelling and transformation tools.

Expertise in creating and optimising dashboards with data visualisation tools (Looker Studio / Tableau / Power BI)

Strong client-facing / stakeholder experience

Strong organisational ability to manage delegate and triage task lists effectively

Experience managing a small team

Strong verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills

Broad knowledge of digital marketing channels
