SAP Master Data Manager

Robert half has partnered with a growing business based in Manchester city centre to recruit for an SAP Master Data Manager. This role will lead a team of Master Data Specialist. The business is looking to implement SAP S4 HANA and this team will support with maintaining and managing the finance master data in SAP. For the right candidate, this role offers:

Salary of £55,000 - £70,000 + hybrid working (1 day a week in the office) + 28 days annual leave (plus bank holiday) + up to 10% employer pension contribution + other excellent benefits

Duties:

• Monitor and improve the quality of master data through data profiling, data cleansing, and data validation processes
• Manage the creation, changing and closing of finance master data across multiple finance systems
• Define and control data standards for naming conventions, data formats and data categorisation to maintain consistency across systems and departments
• Assign data ownership responsibilities to relevant business units or data specialists
• Create and maintain documentation related to master data
• Lead a team of Master Data Specialists, making sure data updates are made accurately and in a timely manner
• Implement and apply data security measures to protect sensitive master data from unauthorised access or breaches
• Support data migration projects making sure finance master data is accurately transformed and transferred between systems during system upgrades or migrations

Experience:

• Experience of maintaining and manging finance master data in SAP
• Strong line management experience
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with change control and management
