This Nursery Class Teacher vacancy in Longsight, Manchester, is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic educators to inspire and nurture early learners in a supportive school environment. The nursery school is attached to the well established Primary School.

Position Overview

As a Nursery Class Teacher, you will:

  • Lead a class in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with the support of two experienced Teaching Assistants.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment to encourage early childhood development.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the EYFS framework, focusing on social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must have:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - Experienced teachers and ECTs are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience teaching in EYFS.
  • Familiarity with the British curriculum or prior teaching experience in the UK is advantageous.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and engage young learners.
  • A creative and adaptable approach to teaching.
  • A commitment to teamwork and collaboration with school staff.
  • A valid enhanced DBS check and the legal right to work in the UK.
  • A CV that covers the last 10 years of employment history, with explanations for any gaps.

  • Start Date: January 2025.
  • Duration: Full academic year, with the potential for a permanent position in the following year.
  • Salary: £160-£210 per day, progressing to M Scale after 12 weeks.
