Early Years Teaching Assistant - Openshaw, Manchester.
Educate GM is seeking a passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to work in our partner school in Openshaw, Manchester. This role is a rewarding opportunity for someone with a nurturing and enthusiastic nature, who loves to make a difference.
Role Overview
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant or Nursery Practitioner, you will:
- Create a nurturing and enthusiastic learning environment for children to learn through play.
- Work along side the teacher to plan relevant activities for the children to develop their learning.
- Monitor each child’s progress and feedback to parents/carers.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in schools or nurseries.
- A Level 1-3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- A genuine passion for working with children and making a difference in their school life.
- Excellent communication skills
Contract Details
- Start Date: January 2025.
- Duration: Full academic year (full-time).
- Salary: £85-£105 per day, (dependent on experience).
- Hours: 8:30am-3:45pm
To be eligible to work in this role you must have:
- The Right to Work in the UK
- A valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS)
- Provide two professional references from previous employers/tutors.
