SEMH Teaching Assistant - Tameside

Are you committed to providing support to pupils with additional needs? We are searching for a nurturing, firm and patient Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child diagnosed with SEMH.

Tradewind are recruiting for an SEMH Teaching Assistant to work in a mainstream Primary school central to Tameside. The position is full-time, working 1:1 with a student in KS1 suffering from trauma, and requires specialist experience. Tradewind offer above-market rates of pay, with the daily rate in the region of £85 - £95 per day.

Your duties might include:

Supporting and managing a pupil with special educational needs, usually on a 1:1 basis

Taking responsibility for the safeguarding of the young people in your care

Supporting the school team to provide a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment for students to learn
