Teaching Assistant - Level 2 or higher (South Manchester)

Graded "Good" by Ofsted in all areas this year, Tradewind is excited to seek a motivated and passionate Level 2 Teaching Assistant for a vibrant primary school in South Manchester.

We're delighted to represent this exceptional school in welcoming an enthusiastic TA to support the academic success and personal growth of its pupils. This full-time position starts immediately and runs through to the end of the academic year, with the possibility of an extension based on your performance.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Collaborating with the teacher to deliver creative and engaging lessons in alignment with the KS1 National Curriculum.
  • Providing targeted support to pupils, including small-group interventions and one-on-one assistance, to ensure individual progress.
  • Monitoring and recording pupil performance, helping to identify learning gaps, and assisting with strategies to bridge them.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assisting with the preparation of resources and activities, contributing to the school's creative curriculum.
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to support student well-being and academic achievement.

Essential Requirements:
