Reeson Education is partnering with a mainstream primary school in Manchester (M11) to recruit a dedicated Intervention Teaching Assistant. This full-time, long-term role involves working with small groups of Early Years and Key Stage 1 students to bridge learning gaps in core subjects, including numeracy, literacy, and phonics.

Intervention teaching assistant key responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted support to small groups in Early Years and KS1, focusing on numeracy, literacy, and phonics.
  • Collaborate with class teachers to develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to students' needs.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and confidence.

Intervention teaching assistant qualifications and experience:

  • Previous experience as an Intervention Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role is essential.
