Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
A leading design and environmental practice who specialise in Ecology, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Landscape Planning, Biodiversity Net Gain, Arboriculture, and GIS, are looking for a Senior Ecologist to join their team in Manchester.

Senior Ecologist, Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a wide range of ecology projects, ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Conduct habitat and protected species surveys, Ecological Clerk of Works, and produce technical reports.
- Manage subconsultants and mentor junior ecologists.
- Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Senior Ecologist Requirements:
- Extensive experience at Consultant Ecologist level, or currently a Senior Ecologist
- Full CIEEM membership
- Protected Species Licence(s)
- Strong knowledge of UK wildlife legislation, EIA, and planning processes
- Experience in project management, fieldwork, and report writing
- Valid UK driving licence
