Assistant Manager - Audit

Hybrid Working - 3 Days in Manchester Office + Flexible Hours

Responsibilities:
  • Leading and managing audit engagements from planning to completion
  • Acting as the primary contact for clients, maintaining strong professional relationships
  • Reviewing audit work prepared by associates and seniors to ensure quality
  • Identifying risks and providing strategic recommendations to clients
  • Assisting with business development and contributing to firm-wide initiatives
  • Supporting the training and development of junior team members
Experience & Qualifications:
  • ACA, ACCA, or CA qualified (essential)
  • Strong external audit experience across a range of sectors
  • Confident in reviewing financial statements and assessing risk
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring junior team members
