What you'll do:

As a Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations within the organisation. Your responsibilities will include coordinating the month-end close & balance sheet reconciliation process across the UK business. You will also be involved in preparing the annual budget and strategic plan while ensuring compliance with group revenue recognition and SOX compliance policies. Additionally, you will manage a small team ensuring they are well motivated and delivering to a high standard.

  • Manage and coordinate the month-end close & Balance Sheet reconciliation process across the UK business
  • Business Partnering for the finance function providing relevant information, reporting and analysis to department heads and the senior leadership team
  • Preparing the annual budget and strategic plan
  • Support the preparation and submission of annual budgets and monthly rolling forecast
  • Ensure compliance with group revenue recognition and SOX compliance policies
  • Work with Global Business Support teams to ensure efficient payments and credit control
  • Managing a team of 2 - ensuring the team are well motivated, delivering to a high standard

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager position is an ACA qualified accountant with strong analytical skills including proficiency in Excel. You should have the ability to manage teamwork load effectively while balancing multiple projects to ensure deadlines are met. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential as you will be maintaining relationships across various senior stakeholders and business areas.
