A growing and ambitious company in the property and investment sector is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to establish and develop its financial reporting function. Based in Macclesfield, this is a newly created role, offering the opportunity to design and implement financial processes from the ground up.

As the business continues to expand, the Finance Manager will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, standardising processes, and providing valuable insights to senior leadership. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organised, with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish financial reporting across multiple entities and projects, including management accounts, P&L, balance sheet, and project cost analysis.
  • Develop and refine financial systems and processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Partner with commercial and procurement teams to support decision-making.
  • Implement automation and best practices to enhance data accuracy and financial workflows.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities, providing strategic insights to senior management.
  • Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning.

Key Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
  • Strong experience in financial reporting, management accounts, and process improvement.
  • Ability to anticipate challenges and proactively develop solutions.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple stakeholders.
  • A strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a fast-growing or dynamic business environment is preferred.
