Finance Manager | East Manchester (2 days in office) | £50,000 - £60,000 + 12.5% bonus | Culture driven multi-site brand Axon Moore have partnered with an exciting, culture driven business who have created a new role for a qualified Finance Manager to join their team on a full time permanent basis. Working in this culture driven environment requires you to have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organisation.You will manage a team of 4 direct reports, prior experience of management isn't a necessity.Responsibilities include:
  • Oversee the month end process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. This will include P&L analysis and full balance sheet reconciliations
  • Working capital management and cash forecasting
  • Capital investment appraisal and review
  • Support the FC and Head of Finance with the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process to support the decision making process
  • Build effective working relationships with cross functional business partners to drive process improvements, and delivering key business metrics and insight to enable informed decision making
  • Take control of stock management, recording and reporting.
  • Work with internal and external IT partners ensuring the finance system meets the business needs in delivering timely and accurate reporting
  • Review and continually develop and enforce financial policies and procedures.
  • Support in any financial due diligence requests 
Ideal candidate:
  • Confident communicator, with an ability to challenge stakeholders  
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
