SJC Partners are delighted to be recruiting for a Payments Team Leader on behalf of a Market leading business based in Manchester City Centre. The purpose of the role will be to work within a large Finance function reporting into the Finance Manager. The team are responsible for the daily processing and posting of internal and external payments including payments to clients, daily Chaps and weekly BACS runs.Responsibilities of the role include:
  • Coordinating a team of 6 members within the payments team.
  • Work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure tasks are completed in set timeframes and within the standards in place.
  • Support and assist the team with resolving queries/issues.
  • Identify and assist with training and team development.
  • Ensure compliance of specific requirements.
  • Liaise with Managers, Accountants and Credit Control re key cash-flow.
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal stakeholders as required.
  • Assist with recruitment, one to ones and appraisals.
