Agile Delivery Lead 

£70,000 - £80,000 / On-site / Greater Manchester 

Xpertise are partnered with an award winning client seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Lead to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you can successfuly drive the delivery of digital products. 

The role involves:

  • Driving agile delivery practices across an extensive portfolio of projects.
  • Increasing visibility into project scope, progress, and risks while improving predictability of delivery.
  • Setting and managing stakeholder expectations around scope, schedule, and return on investment.
  • Actively managing external dependencies, including partners and suppliers, to mitigate risks and avoid disruptions.

You’ll also:

  • Define and implement standard delivery metrics to support team management and progress tracking.
  • Calibrate team velocity and communicate its impact on schedules for better predictability.
  • Support teams in creating relative-sized backlogs and ensuring epics are sufficiently elaborated for planning.
  • Inspect, adapt, and regularly refine metrics to maintain stability and transparency.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to prepare for upcoming features and ensure timely elaboration of epics.
  • Proactively identify, articulate, and mitigate risks, dependencies, assumptions, and issues.

What we're looking for: 

  • A deep understanding of agile frameworks and delivery management techniques.
  • Experience managing risk and operating effectively in uncertain environments.
  • Strong skills in visualising and communicating scope and schedule to stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to guide teams through backlog creation and velocity calibration.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences.
