SJC Partners is currently working closely with a high-profile Investment business based in the heart of Manchester to recruit a Bid Manager who will effectively bid manage new debt portfolio transactions across all asset classes.  Key responsibilities will include:  
  • Leading project planning, scheduling, controlling and reporting activities for the bid process and understanding the complexities of bids.
  • Collating slides for Information Memorandums from various departments and general IM tidy ups/formatting (in PowerPoint).
  • Producing high quality Pre-Qualification Questionnaires, Request for Pricing or Information responses as required.
  • Ensuring that the prevailing deal governance standards are adhered to in relation to the bid process.
  • Ensuring MI reporting is timely and accurate and that the deal pipeline is fully understood by the Board.
  • Communicating effectively with the relevant internal stakeholders and third parties as required to ensure deal deadlines and deliverables are met.
  • Attending due diligence visits and producing due diligence reporting requirements and actions as required.
  • Supporting the Origination and Pricing Leads on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ad hoc administrative support such as minute taking and arranging client meetings.
  Candidates will ideally possess specific bid experience though applications are welcome from individuals from wider project management backgrounds.  Experience of Financial Services and the regulatory landscape would be a big plus.  Naturally you will possess strong presentation and influencing skills as well as prioritisation skills (ability to meet deadlines under multiple competing priorities).
