We're now looking to recruit a HR Administrator to join the team! As the HR Administrator you will support the wider HR team with administration tasks and will be responsible for ensuring employee records are maintained efficiently and accurately.

What does the job involve?

  • Complete the onboarding of new starters, including coordinating the AJ Bell Welcome and holding HR induction sessions.
  • Complete the leavers process for any exiting employees, including updating the HR system, issuing letters and co-ordinating exit interviews.
  • Administer the sickness absence procedure in line with company policy. Support managers in Return to Work meetings where applicable.
  • Support all administration duties within the HR team for example change of job role and promotion letters.
  • Ensure the HR system is kept up to date and maintained on a daily basis.
  • Keep on top of incoming queries into the HR inbox.
  • Support the HR team with administration for annual tasks e.g. performance reviews, holiday processes and background checks.
  • Work with the HR Manager to maintain employee folders in line with GDPR.
  • Supporting and enabling the business to achieve its regulatory requirements, including consumer duty.

What you'll have:

  • Educated to Degree level (or equivalent).
  • Strong I.T. skills in Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Associate/Graduate Member of CIPD or interest in gaining qualification.
  • Have an awareness of current employment law and ACAS Codes of Practice.
  • Be able to demonstrate a passion for HR
  • Possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess effective planning, organisation and time management skills.
  • Be able to demonstrate meticulous attention to detail; high standard of grammar, punctuation and spelling.
