Milk Education are currently partnered with a fantastic  primary special needs (SEN) school based in Didsbury is seeking a Special Needs Teacher for an ASD/SLD Class.

Special Needs Teacher - Didsbury - Details:

  • Teaching a mixed class, pupils with Autism and Severe Learning Difficulties
  • Pupils working at KS1 Levels of attainment - would suit Teacher with Primary curriculum knowledge
  • Curriculum with a particular focus on developing social and communication skills.
  • Work alongside two really friendly and capable learning support assistants (LSAs)
  • Make use of School facilities including Sensory Rooms and extensive outside areas

Special Needs Teacher - Didsbury - The successful applicant:

The successful Special Needs Teacher will need to be;

  • Flexible, with the ability to use their own initiative where required
  • Experienced working in an SEN school or with ASD and SLD children
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clear and up to date DBS
  • UK QTS or an overseas teaching qualification

Ideally the successful applicant will have a proven track record working in an SEN environment but the Headteacher will consider a primary trained teacher with a passion for SEN, a proven track record as a teacher and a can do attitude.
