Component General Manager
Working Hours: 40 hours per week – 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday.
1 hour – Unpaid Lunch Break.
We are recruiting for a Component General Manager.


As our Component General Manager, you will report directly to the Components Production Director. You will be responsible for the day to day running and efficient manufacturing, assembly, stocking and quality of all component parts associated within the company’s portfolio of products. Managing staff across all functions within production.

The main responsibilities of the role are to assist the Components Production Director in every aspect of running the Component Manufacturing Division. The role is to oversee and create scheduled plans for the efficient running of all departments within the Components Division. A ‘hands on approach and can-do attitude’ is essential together with the ability to manage human and material resources, to ensure production targets and objectives are achieved, utilise our internal stocking system for production planning / scheduling throughout all departments.

The successful person must have a strong background within a manufacturing environment. Good communications skills together with experience of production planning, supply chain management, monitoring sales orders/stock, forecasting for future demand of new and existing products is required. Proficient in Microsoft package inc Excel and outlook.

Advantageous skills/experiences would include the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure that all manufactured goods comply with the Company’s quality standards, an understanding of the Injection moulding process and Mould tooling, good negotiation skills and an understanding of Lean Manufacturing however full training will be given.
