Employee Relations Manager

Central Manchester - Hybrid Working

£40,000 - £48,000 per annum

I am delighted to be partnering with this entrepreneurial start-up to appoint an Employee Relations Manager to join their rapidly growing business. Based in Central Manchester, this thriving business have a lovely culture and there is a shared passion throughout to achieve success whilst remaining a people-focused employer. Hybrid working with a couple of days per week in the office.

This is an integral role within the People team and takes ownership of all ER casework in the business. You will hands-on supporting, coaching and guiding managers with complex ER issues whilst also filtering cases down to the HR Advisors. Ther will be regular collaboration with the L&D team to maximise manager capabilities, identifying areas for training and development. The ER manager will take ownership of the policies and procedures relating to Employee Relations, always seeking out opportunity for continuous improvement. As the business continue to grow, you will take the lead on organisational change and TUPE projects. Working as part of the wider People team, there will be an opportunity to get involved in wider HR initiatives including Wellbeing, ED&I and Employee Experience.

  • Proven track record supporting on a wide range of complex ER issues
  • Organisational change exposure including TUPE
  • Strong communicator with influencing and relationship management skills
  • Resilient and comfortable working in a fast-paced and rapidly growing business
  • A proactive self-starter, ready to get stuck into a challenge and make a positive impact
  • Comfortable working with high level of autonomy
