An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading global technology business for a Payroll Manager to join initially on an interim basis due to continued growth and expansion. This company are located in Luxury offices in Manchester City Centre and going through an exciting period of growth making it an excellent time to join the business.

Description

The Interim Payroll Manager role is initially a temporary assignment which could be extended and will be Hybrid working- 1 day per week in Manchester City Centre office/4 days remote.

Reporting to the Senior Director responsibilities will include:

  • Day to day management of a Payroll Team ensuring the smooth running of the Payroll and quality of service to our Customer
  • To plan the workload and planner of the Customer for each month's Payroll and ad-hoc cycles
  • To work in line with all Payroll processes as per the documented manuals
  • Resolve and provide advice and guidance on Payroll queries from customers, employees, HMRC and other 3rd parties
  • Build solid relationships with Customer, ensure that their expectations are met, and ensure delivery of a service conducive with long term customer relationship
  • Be the point of escalation for Customer queries and issues
  • Ensure confidentiality of Customer data is always maintained
  • Customer advisor on Payroll legislation
  • Assess and manage key aspects of change control on Customer account, including changes to process and operating procedures
  • Provide scheduled Payroll reports

Profile

In order to apply for the role you must:

  • Have previous experience in Payroll Manager role
  • Be confident in Manual Payroll calculations
  • Be available to consider a temporary role initially
  • Be able to consider a role based 1 day per week in Manchester City Centre
