As the Junior HR Business Partner, you will report to the Head of HR and collaborate closely with the business to develop a comprehensive people strategy, ensuring all employees have an outstanding experience, from initial recruitment and continuing throughout their career journey.
The Junior HR Business Partner will play a crucial role in supporting the HR function by assisting in the implementation of HR strategies and initiatives that correspond with the organisation's and business area's objectives. Responsibilities include driving the operational aspects to bring these strategies to fruition and offering support to approximately 100 employees within the business area. Occasional travel will be required. It is essential to ensure smooth communication across the business, address employee concerns and promote a positive workplace culture. This position serves as a foundation for developing strategic HR skills while maintaining a strong focus on operational HR tasks.
This is a pivotal role, where such duties will include:
- Supporting Recruitment processes (Creating job descriptions, screening candidates, attending interviews)
- Employee relations.
- Performance Management
- Training and development
- HR policy and implementation
- Analysing HR metrics to support decision making and strategy (turnover rates, employee satisfaction)
- Culture and engagement initiatives
- Payroll, compensation and benefits
The successful individual will have proven experience operating as a Senior HR Advisor or Junior HR Business Partner, ideally from a financial or professional services organisation. You will have a proactive, "cando" attitude and solutions-driven mindset with an ability to work within a fast paced and changing environment with ongoing project plans, executing against the plan in a timely way. Strong stakeholder management skills are essential.
