We are seeking a dedicated Senior HRBP for a temporary 9-month role, ideally experienced within the Public Sector, to support our client's Human Resources department in Manchester.

Description

The Senior HR Business Partner will provide leadership and guidance to senior leaders, managers, and employees across the organisation. This role will drive organisational performance, employee engagement, talent management, and HR solutions aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring the effective implementation of HR initiatives while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategy with business goals.
  • Provide expert advice on employee relations, talent management, and organizational design.
  • Drive the recruitment, development, and retention of top talent.
  • Lead performance management processes, including coaching and succession planning.
  • Support change management initiatives and organizational development efforts.
  • Oversee employee engagement programs and ensure alignment with business priorities.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve HR processes.
  • Act as a mentor to junior HR team members, sharing expertise and best practices.

Profile

A successful Senior HRBP should be:

  • Ideally immediately available/ available at very short notice
  • A degree or equivalent in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR practices and employment law.
  • Experience working in a similar role within the Public Sector.
  • Proficient skills in conflict resolution and negotiation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated commitment to promoting equality and human rights
