We are seeking a dedicated People Partner to join our client for a temporary contract of 4 months in the heart of Manchester! This is an exciting opportunity to partner with managers at all levels and deliver high-quality HR services.
Contract Details:
- Contract Type: Temporary
- Annual Salary: From £40,000 to £43,000
- Working Pattern: 35 hours per week, flexitime
- Location: One day per week in the Manchester office - Less than 10 minutes from both train and tram stops
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a top-notch people partnering service while managing a busy caseload within deadlines.
- Offer insightful advice and guidance to managers on a variety of people matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and performance improvement.
- Build strong relationships with managers through regular engagement and proactive support.
- Understand and apply safeguarding policies to protect vulnerable individuals.
- Deliver high-quality administrative support, including drafting case-related correspondence and updating HR systems.
- Coach and mentor managers to empower their development in managing people-related matters.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in our people policies and processes.
What You Bring:
- Extensive casework experience
- A strong background in partnering with senior managers to deliver effective HR services.
- Experience in providing well-thought-out advice on a wide range of people matters, ensuring fairness and compliance with legislation.
- A solid understanding of HR, EDI best practises, and employment legislation, with the ability to apply this knowledge to complex situations.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to draught clear and concise documents.
- High professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling sensitive information.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and manage challenges effectively.
- Exceptional organisational skills to prioritise and manage competing deadlines.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a "can-do" attitude towards delivering results.
- A commitment to excellent customer service, ensuring the needs of internal and external clients are met.
