SENIOR DESIGNER:

  • Reporting directly into Senior Management
  • You will lead and navigate your design team to execute new & exciting ranges
  • Develop & motivate your team members
  • You'll have a strong, experienced background in building cohesive ranges to a high quality
  • Aim to protect and elevate the brand at all times
  • You must have a proven ability to hand draw, sketch and create your own cads
  • Ability to curate clear, concise messages & direction for the team and wider business with what styles & trends you'll be going after
  • Ability to conduct reporting and analysis if required on the market & your competition
  • Attend and support fit sessions where required
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
  • Looking after and ensuring the best construction and fabric quality is always on offer
  • You'll be a natural at building strong & genuine internal relationships
  • work closely and collaboratively with you garment tech to ensure quality, fit and practicality is always being looked after
  • Attend all fit sessions
  • Be prepared for wearer trials to ensure that all garments are fit for purpose
  • Work in tandem with your buyer to ensure visions are achievable with the supply base, timeframes, lead times
  • Utilise wider team like buyer and merch to obtain commercial info around best sellers
  • Contribute to weekly trade actions
  • When briefing suppliers, ensure all teams members are onboard with your vision and ensure that all briefs are highly detailed
