Hays are proud to be working alongside a pioneering global healthcare communication agency committed to revolutionising patient care through innovative and accurate healthcare information, and have some of the leading global pharmaceutical and biotechnology giants as their clients.Key Responsibilities:* Demonstrate and apply knowledge of the editorial processes of briefing, information management, internal review, QC / data checking, styling and editing* Demonstrate and apply knowledge of key information sources for content development (eg PubMed, government/regulatory websites, disease-specific websites, etc.)* Develop high-quality content for scientific materials across various project types according to the project brief, ensuring that style and format are suitable for intended use and audience* Conduct QC (data and reference) checks, highlighting any discrepancies noted.* Attend on-site (or virtual) client meetings, seeking guidance where needed.* Apply understanding of, and keep up to date with, relevant therapy areas.* Demonstrate appropriate knowledge and application of copyright permissions.* Work collaboratively with internal team members for efficient delivery of project work. * Prioritise own workload to ensure multiple projects are delivered to internal and external deadlines, independently identifying any potential issues in meeting deadlines* Demonstrate basic understanding of how individual project deliverables on an account contribute to the overall client/account objectives.* Liaise and effectively communicate with clients and external experts in the delivery of project work * Demonstrate basic understanding of how individual project deliverables on an account contribute to the overall client/account objectives. * Understand and apply key industry guidelines (eg GPP, ICMJE, ABPI, PhRMA, CONSORT, etc.) What you'll need to succeed* Life Science degree (preference: pharmacology/pharmacy, medicine, biomedical/biological sciences) - Higher degree (eg MSc, PhD) is desirable but not essential* Medical writing experience within a medical communications agency (minimum 10 months to 1.5 years' experience) * Publications experience essentialWhat you'll get in return* Fully remote or hybrid working option.* 10% of gross salary is paid as an employee benefit.
