Douglas Scott are working with an established firm in Manchester who are looking to add a Solicitor to their team of expert regulatory, fraud, and criminal defense lawyers.My client is looking for an experienced Solicitor to join their Regulatory team to support clients in regulatory matters with professionalism and efficiency and will be part of the Professional Discipline teamKey Responsibilities:

  1. Case Management: Oversee regulatory cases from client inquiry to case completion, following all department standards.
  2. Client Advising: Provide reliable advice, documenting all actions and updates to clients promptly.
  3. Meetings and Instructions: Attend key meetings, instruct counsel and experts, and manage funding as needed.
  4. Representation: Represent clients in hearings, disciplinary matters, and appeals up to High Court.
  5. File Management: Record all key dates, finances, and ensure legal forms are completed accurately.
  6. Client Updates: Keep clients informed on case progress and cost implications.
  7. Team and Training: Collaborate with colleagues, stay current on practice systems and law.
  8. Police Station Support: Attend police stations to assist clients, liaising as required.
  9. Confidentiality: Uphold confidentiality across all client matters.
