Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to Housing Disrepair Pre-Action Protocol and relevant legislation (e.g., Landlord & Tenant Act).
- Draft Letters of Claim and collate special damages.
- Assess liability through housing records and surveyor reports.
- Handle negotiation, settlement, mediation, and court proceedings as needed.
- Use Proclaim software effectively, ensuring adherence to business policies.
- Maintain clear and effective client communication throughout the case.
- Previous experience in Housing Disrepair is preferred; however, candidates from other legal areas looking to retrain are welcome, provided they have litigation experience and familiarity with Proclaim case management software.
- Ability to handle a full caseload with attention to detail and efficient time management.
