An opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor/Associate to join a Tier 1 ranked Housing Management team within the dispute resolution department, offering a competitive salary that is negotiable based on experience.
The firm is flexible on the level of PQE, welcoming candidates from NQ to 5 years PQE for this role.

An opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor/Associate to join this firms Tier 1 ranked Housing Management team, as part of the dispute resolution department. The team is ranked by both Chambers and Legal 500 directories as one of the premier litigation departments in England & Wales. The department provides legal advice to clients across a wide spectrum of commercial, property and housing disputes.The role This role arises in their housing management team who are national leaders in their field. The team provide expert legal advice to registered social landlords and local authority clients across Wales and England. Their advice covers all aspects of tenancy enforcement arising out of nuisance behaviour, criminal activity or anti-social behaviour and other issues to include defending disrepair claims, homelessness, and navigating the changes The Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016 has brought. The role will include a wide range of tasks and responsibilities including producing court documents, negotiating with other parties, advising clients, regular advocacy, and supervision of junior members of the team. Skills & Qualifications

The role is for a qualified solicitor or CILEX but the firm are currently flexible on levels of PQE they are looking for so NQ - 5 years PQE is welcome.
The successful candidate will have strong organisation skills as well as the ability to work within tight deadlines.
The team work very closely with clients and are often referred to as an extension of their teams, so excellent client care skills are a must.
Experience of managing a caseload of landlord and tenant issues is essential along with experience of supervising others and managing workflows.
Previous experience working with registered social landlords as well as local authorities is preferred.
