An established law firm is seeking a solicitor/barrister (remote working) to act as In-House Counsel as part of their team. The role offers remote or hybrid working options, providing flexibility while working with a highly experienced legal team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review Housing Disrepair case files and provide support to fee earners.
  • Draft Particulars of Claim and ensure timely return to fee earners.
  • Draft replies to Defences and Counterclaims when required.
  • Collaborate closely with the firm’s Senior In-House Counsel, assisting with various tasks to ensure all actions are completed efficiently.
  • Maintain compliance with Civil Procedure and ensure all legal documents are prepared to a high standard.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Possesses a strong academic background and excellent technical skills, particularly in drafting and civil procedure.
  • Experience in drafting Particulars of Claim.
  • Has a high attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines efficiently.
  • Works well both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills and the ability to provide support across multiple cases.
